Choose one of the Following Lodge Options. All Lodges are approximately 2 hours drive from Banff
Option 1 - Cathedral Mountain Lodge
Cathedral Mountain Lodge is located in Yoho National Park just 25 miles west of Lake Louise and is an ideal base to explore the many attractions of Banff, Yoho, Kootenay and Jasper National Parks. Cathedral Mountain's cozy log cabins are indicative of the ideal accommodation one would image in the Rocky Mountains, nestled in the trees along the Kicking Horse River. Log and loft cabins are furnished in hand crafted solid Canadian Pine and all contain wood burning stone fireplaces, queen log beds with down duvets and large decks. Lodge is schedule to open 17 May-30 Sep. We regret children under 12 can not be accommodated. Maximum occupancy of a room is 2 persons.
Option 2 - Emerald Lake Lodge
Emerald Lake Lodge located in beside Spectacular Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park just 25 miles west of Lake Louise. No vehicles are allowed on the grounds and guests are requested to park their vehicles in the overnight parking lot. A shuttle bus will transport you to the Main Lodge. The Lodge originated as a guesthouse the 1902 and was improved through to the 1920's. Since then the Canadian Government has permitted no additional development. Now the area remains one of Canada's most outstanding year-round accessible wilderness settings. Built of hand-hewn timber and featuring massive stone fireplaces, the Lodge includes a formal dining room, quiet reading and sitting rooms, conference facilities and a games room. The lounge is enhanced by an oak bar salvaged from an 1890's Yukon saloon. Superior rooms have one queen-size bed or two double beds, a sitting area in front of the fireplace and a private balcony. These rooms do not guarantee a view of the Lake and have no telephones. Lodge is schedule to open year-round.
Option 3 - Moraine Lake Lodge
Moraine Lake Lodge is located beside picture-perfect Moraine Lake, 15 minutes from Lake Louise. The Lodge is a post-and-beam structure graced with grand windows providing generous views of the lake's incomparable turquoise hue and the surrounding Valley of the Ten Peaks. All rooms have private balconies, custom made furniture, and a view of the lake and mountains. There are no telephones or televisions in the rooms, instead guests are steeped in a natural setting that offers canoeing, hiking, nature watching, climbing and photography. The cuisine at the lodge is as spectacular as the views. Lodge is schedule to open 01 Jun-30 Sep. We regret children under 12 can not be accommodated. Maximum occupancy of a room is 2 persons.
